Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance (UINR), or Ukrainian Institute of National Memory (UINM) is the central executive body under the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. Established on 31 May 2006 as specially authorized central executive body in the field of restoration and preservation of national memory of the Ukrainian people. Then — the central body of executive power of Ukraine with special status, from 2010 to 2014 — research budget institution. December 9, 2010 UINR eliminated by decree of Viktor Yanukovych. On the same day the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine instructed to create a Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance as a research institution budget the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. == Directors ==
